Paper Wreath Project

Ok, so this project didn’t turn out as “pretty” as Simple Joys Paperie…but this WAS my first attempt and I wanted to emphasize that!  It was a little difficult at first get the proper roll shape with the pages, but once you get the hang of it, it went by pretty fast.  I followed Primp’s Vintage Sheet Music Wreath Tutorial.  I still want to add a medallion paper in the middle to cover the points, but wanted to show it off.
Please check out Simple Joys Paperie’s Etsy shop @ http://www.etsy.com/listing/66312530/royal-fleur-de-lis-crown-with-black
and Primp’s tutorial @ http://micheleravendesigns.blogspot.com/2010/09/vintage-sheet-music-wreath-by-primp.html

I'm linked in the French Country Cottage, The Shabby Chic Cottage, Fireflies and Jellybeans, & No Minimalist Here - Please check them out!

Sorry, I’m still new to blogging and this is the only way I know how to link so far…enjoy the pics.

I used an old, old book of poetry that was tattered and worn out.  I bought a wreath form at Michael's and used a glue gun to shape the pages & glue them to the form.

I’ll add a pic this weekend when i finish the middle part.  Thanks Primp for the tutorial and thanks to Simple Joys Paperie for the inspiration.
